Max 708 locks up if connected to internet

     My subscription has expired.
    I had to reinstall my back \up software to get it to work.
    Which it was, I noticed that if I put the correct password to access the Internet that it will lock the machine up ASAP !

    So is it communicating with AUTEL,see that my subscription has expired.. 
    SO IT LOCKS MY SCANNER UP ? ?  ?

    Reinstalling my backup software again, removing any Internet connections and passwords to see what happens..
    If it does and I don't have any problems,, I SMELL SOMETHING ILLEGAL BEING DONE !

     WELL.......WELL.....WELL....
    I reinstalled my backup software, removed the passwords to internet access...And guess what ?

    SO FAR IT WORKS PERFECT ! ............So what do you think is going on ?
    Will continue to see if it works......

     Was going on three weeks...No problems with scanner..

    Thought I would connect to the Internet....and put in our wifi password....

    GUESS WHAT ! !

    IT LOCKED UP THE SCREEN AGAIN ! ! !

    Reinstalled my backup software, AND IT WORKS AGAIN ! !

    SOMETHING SOUNDS KIND OF ILLEGAL ABOUT THIS SITUATION ! !

     i am working on a lawsuit against AUTEL RIGHT NOW!
    Check my forum post under maxidas708 is garbage forum. Autel is telling us all to piss off. I cant believe someone has already not gone after them. I will not update my scanner and also leave my wifi turned off!

     I for one want to be included in the law suit... Post a link to your post...

    It would be like if you owned a car, the warranty expires.. So if you don't buy our extended warranty, your car shuts off and won't do anything...

    Illegal as hell !

     WOW.....

    Going on two months now, and amazingly as long as it doesn't connect to the Internet... It works.....
